Product Overview
This customizable XPS board knife coating line is designed for applying precise, uniform layers of polymer-modified mortar, cementitious coatings, acrylic renders, primers, or adhesives onto XPS (extruded polystyrene) rigid foam boards. Available in stucco-ready mortar, high-precision primer/leveling, and double-side laminating configurations.
Unlike spray or roller coating, the knife-over-roll method achieves >95% transfer efficiency with minimal material waste, eliminating overspray - especially critical for solvent-sensitive XPS substrates. Excess high-viscosity coating is recirculated back to the supply tank.
